An adventurous journey through 500 million years of evolution, with 45 musicians from Het Balletorkest and 10 performers from ISH.

In this spectacular show dance, acrobatics and symphonic music join together to tell the story of two exotic creatures who are in love, but tragically separated by the course of evolution. Their adventurous search to become reunited extends to the farthest corners of the earth: from the darkest depths of the ocean to the endless blue of the atmosphere. For two weeks, the Zuiveringshal West at the Westergasfabriek in Amsterdam will be transformed into the spectacular backdrop of this family show.

Creatures is suitable for all ages, and is a wonderful way to get acquainted with classical music and different styles of dance.

This performance is made even more remarkable by the participation of the musicians of Het Balletorkest. They form part of the choreography and wear all kinds of exotic costumes, while playing music ranging from Debussy to the theme from Jurassic Park, and all from memory!
